Step 1 — Start With a Free Mock Up
Every custom order starts with a digital mock up — and it's completely free.
You send us your logo or artwork. We place it on the hat in your chosen color and send you a visual to review. No commitment. No invoice. No pressure. You don't pay a single dollar until you love what you see.
This step matters more than most people realize. An oversized hat carries a logo differently than a standard fitted cap. The scale is bigger. The canvas is more dramatic. Seeing your brand on a Phat Lid before committing to a production run is the difference between a good result and a great one.
Step 2 — Choose Your Color and Logo Application
Phat Lids are available in over 100 fabric colors and patterns — including solid colors, camo, and custom options. From classic black and white to bold reds, blues, and everything in between — your brand gets to own its color.
For logo application, we offer two options:
Embroidered patches — a premium woven patch applied to the front panel. Clean edges, professional finish, built to last. This is the standard for bulk orders and the option most brands choose for events and merchandise programs.
Direct embroidery — your logo stitched directly into the fabric. A more integrated look for brands that want their mark built into the hat itself.
Both options are available from 25 units and up.
Step 3 — Confirm Your Quantity
Bulk orders start at 25 units per colorway. If you want multiple colors — each colorway requires its own minimum of 25 units.

Step 4 — Invoice and Payment
Once you approve the mock up and confirm your quantity we send your invoice. Full payment is required upfront before production begins. This is how we keep our lead times tight and our quality consistent — every order is fully funded before a single hat is cut.
Step 5 — Production and Shipping
Standard production and shipping through our manufacturing partner runs approximately 8-10 weeks from paid invoice via sea freight. Rush air freight is available for faster turnaround at an additional cost — contact us for current availability and pricing.
